Wife has right on her husband but not on husband's relatives. And wife is not deciding authority whether to register cases or not under domestic violence act. Wife can have authority to ask police to register cases under domestic violence act. It is sheer criminal ignorance on part of wife or husband to be both lawyer and judge for self in family running.A family is legal only by third party solemnisation. So that third party can extend upto as many people as family wants to avoid family disturbances whcih are natural if distrust about other spouse. In my view, a home which is constituted by family of both will be police station by itself for other/s and law court by itself for other/s.
