Slavery is because of immorality(inconsistency against adverse questions). Slavery is knowledge that binds self. Freedom is knowledge that liberates self by giving respect to "knowledge that binds self". Indians suffered slavery from its invaders with ups and downs for every two centuries in past history. M k Gandhi liberated India as knowledge that liberates self towards seeking self knowledge.

Slavery is because of uncivilised and imaginative BARBARIC-MINDSET among Indians in past. 

Brahmins and maharajas are uncivilised and imaginative without any reality check.

So Brahminsm is barbarian.
