Indian cricket team in 1983 World Cup was UNDERDOGS. So India did miracle at lord's on June 25th 1983 AD. Yes ! India was world cricket champion in "third" World Cup after West Indies was winner of past two world cups in 1975 AD and 1979 AD successively.
